ICT France and ICT Iberica are rewarded for their performance
Carrefour France, a major player in European distribution, awarded ICT France and ICT Iberica for their highest quality of deliveries to its warehouses since the beginning of the Covid crisis.
ICT France's Supply Chain Director, Eric Grousseau, had the privilege to receive this award on behalf of ICT.
As pointed out during the presentation of the prize, this performance is all the more remarkable since it was achieved while the health crisis severely penalized deliveries to Retail Chains ; ICT France and ICT Iberica obtained a service rate of 99.6%. As Carrefour pointed out, this is the best rate of all the companies producing the Carrefour brand.
“Congratulations to the Supply Chain teams of ICT France and ICT Iberica who have implemented agility and flexibility for our customer.”

5th competitive business summit
Every year the Government of Aragon holds a Competitive Business Summit where companies of Aragon are chosen that, for certain reasons, are recognized for their EXCELLENCE.
In its 5th Edition held last February 19, and considering the special economic health situation of the region caused by Covid, it was decided to select a small group of companies that showed their solidarity by providing aid in different areas.
ICT Ibérica was one of the selected companies and received public acknowledgment from the Government of Aragon and the King of Spain FELIPE VI for their health aid delivered to different sectors. Our contribution was targeted at the equipment of emergency ambulances as well as the purchase of respirators and support material for the old people's homes.
King FELIPE VI in person awarded us with a plaque in recognition of our citizen awareness and business solidarity.
ICT Ibérica’s gender equality action plan
In December 2020, as part of its commitment to gender equal treatment and opportunities, ICT Ibérica signed its 2020-2023 Gender Equality Action Plan. By doing so, it has made equal opportunities for men and women a strategic principle of its Human Resource Policy.
A Negotiating Committee for Equality, comprising an equal number of company representatives, both male and female workers, was immediately set up.
The Plan was conceived by analysing the extent to which the principle of equality is respected: this involved conducting quantitative research on staff data as well as qualitative research centred on a working environment survey that included a specific chapter on equality.
Based on the conclusions drawn from this research, a number of measures were identified, which are to be implemented on a global scale and will involve a large number of people: from staff working at ICT Ibérica to the companies it collaborates with.
The Equality Action Plan is a set of well-planned goals, measures and actions consistent with each other, with effective monitoring and evaluation of set goals.
The Plan also includes the “Protocol for the prevention of sexual harassment and sexually motivated harassment in the workplace" which regulates the “Convenio Colectivo Estatal de Pastas, Papel y Cartón” (National Collective Agreement on Pulp, Paper and Cardboard).
We are aware of the importance of equal opportunities for men and women, which is why we will be developing our equality plan.
The greater the equality, the better the company.
ICT Ibérica is ISO 50001 certified
Once again, ICT Ibérica is strengthening its commitment to sustainability, as it has now obtained the ISO 50001:2018 energy management system certification.
This management system will help us to maintain our targets of continuous improvement in the energy industry, in all of our company’s processes. As we move into this new phase, we will be aligning ourselves with the UN Sustainable Development Goal “SDG 13 - Climate Action”, which pledges to take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
Christmas competition at ICT Ibérica
As every year, ICT Ibérica has launched its traditional Children's Christmas Drawing Competition.
In this 7th edition, we have received a total of 90 drawings that are brightening up and filling the walls of our company with colour these days.
We are very grateful for the fabulous reception that this initiative has had year after year by the families and for the enthusiasm demonstrated by the children in each of the drawings presented.
Although every year they make it more difficult for us, after the popular vote and the final election of the jury, the final result has been as follows:
In the 0-4 years category we received 32 drawings, and the selected finalists were: Sergio Sánchez (2 years old), Ayanet Alcaine (4 years old), Leo Vallejo (4 years old) and Pablo Gómez (2 years old). The winner was Ayanet Alcaine.
In the 5 to 8 years category we received 39 drawings, and the selected finalists were: Héctor Velázquez (5 years old), Adrián Gómez (5 years old), Iker Escalona (7 years old). The winner was Adrián Gómez.
In the 9 to 12 years category we received 19 drawings, and the selected finalists were: Adriana Terreu (10 years old), Belen Ruiz (10 years old), Adan Velázquez (10 years old) y Varinia Lapuente (11 years old). The winner was Belén Ruiz.
Many thanks once again to our "little artists" for participating and congratulations to the three winners of this year.
