ICT Poland: works have begun in the cellulose storage areas
Works have begun in ICT Poland to create an additional warehouse for the storage of cellulose. The completion of the works is scheduled for the end of November 2021. The total construction area is 6,314.50 m2. PM2 energy efficiency projects
The focus of ICT on the environment continues: the company has carried out two important energy efficiency projects on the paper machine PM2 at the Piano della Rocca site.
The first project consisted in improving the efficiency of the approach system by replacing the existing fan pumps with new, accurately sized pumps. In addition, state-of-the-art motors and inverters were installed replacing the previous supply system. As expected when designing the project, the adopted solution saves a significant amount of electrical energy and, as a result, reduces CO2 emissions for the production of paper.
The second one concerned the drying stage, where the heat loss of the Yankee dryer was reduced installing specially designed insulation systems. This intervention ensures a reduction I n gas consumption and the related polluting emissions during the drying of paper; it has also resulted in improved environmental working conditions for the operators.

Since 2013, ICT Ibérica, together with Foxy, has been collaborating with Unicef on national and international projects.
In 2020 we reiterated our commitment with a total contribution of Euro 250,000, allocating a considerable part of this donation (Euro 150,000) to funds for the purchase of health and protection supplies for the Covid-19 emergency in Spain.
Meanwhile, we remain greatly determined to pursue the “Girls at School” project in the Ivory Coast, in which we collaborate directly in the complete schooling of 3,020 girls between 9 and 16 years old, and indirectly in that of another 3,000 children enrolled in the 20 schools involved in the project.
These two collaborations strengthen our social commitment and our global contribution in all sectors.
UNICEF is active in over 190 countries and territories around the world with the aim of guaranteeing the rights of all children.
If you wish, you too can collaborate with UNICEF https://www.unicef.org/
The small changes make the difference.
